Remote counselling
Not everyone can travel to see a counsellor. I offer online counselling sessions, and in some cases I can offer home visits.
If you are not in a position in which you can travel to see a counsellor, we can explore whether counselling online or by phone is something that would work for you. This would involve first understanding the particular issues that are troubling you, and whether you have a private space for counselling sessions in which you will not be disturbed. In some cases we might agree to have a number of sessions face to face before considering whether to switch to online counselling. I do not offer counselling by email.
I use VSee for online counselling, which is a secure video tool. You can find out more about VSee here and I can help you to download, install and operate a free version of the software (it is simple to use). Alternatively, we can undertake counselling sessions by telephone. I have undertaken specific training in remote methods of counselling.
I also undertake home visits in some circumstances. If this is something you think would work for you, we would first explore the particular issues that are troubling you, and whether you have a private space for counselling sessions in which you will not be disturbed.
